About Infinite Calculators
Infinite Calculators publishes free calculators for everyday questions: how many hours are on a time card, how much concrete a slab needs, what to tip, what score you need on a final exam, how much zakat is due, and when Easter falls in a given year.
Who runs the site
Infinite Calculators is built and run by IdeoXpert, a software company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. IdeoXpert builds websites, web applications and mobile apps, and the same developers and designers who do that work design, code and test every calculator on this site.
Why we build these tools
Many calculator sites give you a number without showing how they got it. We think the working matters as much as the answer, so every calculator here follows the same rules:
- It gives the answer as you type, on a phone as well as a computer.
- It shows the step-by-step working, with your own numbers filled into the formula.
- It explains the method in plain language, with a worked example you can check by hand.
- It runs entirely in your browser, so the numbers you enter are never sent to us.
- It is free to use, with no account or sign-up.
How we check accuracy
The math behind each calculator is written as a small, separate piece of code and tested against known answers before the page goes live. Those answers come from outside sources wherever possible: published Easter dates for the Easter calculator, the Umm al-Qura calendar for Hijri dates, and state tax rates published by the Tax Foundation for the sales tax calculator, together with examples worked out by hand.
Where the answer depends on a choice of method, the page says which method it uses and, where it matters, lets you switch. Our editorial policy describes the full process, including how the religious calculators are handled.
How the site is paid for
The site is free to use. Its running costs are covered by advertising shown through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in how any calculator works or what it tells you. Our privacy policy explains how ads and cookies work on this site.
